After many years reading everything from classic literature to travel guides, my client wanted a space where their collection could be displayed, as well as a comfy interior space conducive for reading. The room also had to function as an inviting entertainment area for evenings spent with friends playing board games. Of course, they also wanted the room just to kick back in and be together.
I began with a bare space, created a floor plan, selected the elegant custom furniture, suggested decorating tips, then incorporated some of their favorite art pieces, thus designing an interior that they, at one point, believed would only exist in their mind.
